    MW published a piece exploring how we work online, after an interview with me just before Christmas. 

    I’ve done occasional interviews before, but mostly opinion pieces, so having something that constantly namechecks me makes me feels awkward and embarrassed at the exposure. I was feeling physically sick with nerves between seeing the email arrive with the article and finishing reading it.

    On the whole, I’m pretty happy with how it came out. My largest worry was that it would seem like I was claiming to be wholly responsible for everything we’ve done recently, which is most definitely not the case.

    I still can’t get used to seeing myself referred to in the third person as “Cockle” though. It’s like being back at school…
